Information
Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park is situated only 8 kilometres from Whanganui town centre, and adjacent to Castlecliff Beach. The beach is popular for both swimming and fishing and is patrolled by watch guards in summer due to its popularity. You can fish from the beach or use the nearest boat ramp, which is only 1.5 km away. Fishing charter trips are also available. Whanganui is one of the oldest provincial cities in New Zealand, so has many buildings of historic interest. It has a population of approx. 39500 people and is well known for its gardens, parks, museums and galleries offering a wide variety of activities for all age groups.
Office hours are 8.00am – 8.00pm.

Departure time is strictly 10 am .
Rubbish
To be wrapped and placed in receptacles provided. Recycle bins are available outside kitchen.
Playground
There is a large playground adjacent to our park. Including one of the largest skate
boarding rinks in the country
Accounts
Balance of accounts are payable on arrival. Payments must be made on arrival for full time booked with no refund for early departure.
Messages

Bus stop
| Buses are available into Town 6 days a week. Bus timetable is available at the office. |
General Store
Offering all general supplies and takeaways. Shop hours. 7am – 8.pm
Visitors
Must call in to the office – By courtesy of management at all times. You are responsible for your visitors at all times and must depart by 10pm. Any charge for visitors if not paid by them will be charged to yourself. Visitors are NOT to use showers, laundry and swimming pool unless a camp fee is charged.
Laundry
All machines are token operated. Tokens are available at the office, $3.00 each. Washing powder also available, $1.00 per wash.
Swimming Pool
Only quests registered as staying on the premises are permitted to use the pool (due to council and OSH regulations). Any day visitors using the pool will be charged the full camp fee.
Children
Must be supervised at all times. The pool is closed at 9pm

Pets
We are pet friendly but conditions apply: If travelling with a small pet, and do not have a cage/area in your vehicle for them to be housed, sorry we cannot supply cabin/motel accommodation. In private campervans or caravans, small pets are allowed, conditions apply. (All pets EXCLUDED long weekends and Christmas Holiday periods. Please enquire)
Alcohol
As we are a family Holiday Park parties are not permitted however alcohol is allowed within your unit/site/bbq area
Speed in Camp
Maximum SPEED in camp area is 5km/h. PLEASE watch for children!
Damage
Should you or any of your guests damage any property during your stay, please advise us IMMEDIATELY. We do reserve the right to charge for any repairs or replacements.
